I want to be that happy

Yesterday I took my dog, Teddy, to the groomer. Plenty of $$ and pampering later he came home...pretty and smelling good.

This morning I took him to a big field that I like to take him to so he can walk off leash for awhile and enjoy trotting around. As I was walking he got behind me...when I turned around all I saw was four paws in the air and sheer dog bliss as the big guy rolled around in the tall grass...When I yelled to him to catch up, he looked up at me with the biggest happiest face I think I've ever seen.

Now don't get me wrong...I'm a fairly happy guy, but I don't know if I've ever had that face.

We walked a little more and again I turned around to see him rolling around in the grass...let me just tell ya...unplug for a bit and give it a try :-)

Just a little video test

Don't mind me, I'm just working on adding a video file to this blog. I love screencasting and have been using TechSmith's Camtasia for a couple of years now...maybe one day I'll get to be good at it. I enjoy making vids but those file sizes are a bear...usually my content goes on a streaming server that I don't control, but I want to explore a bit with things.

The above is a screencast of a PowerPoint presentation, I opened PowerPoint and used Camtasia 4 to record the screen as I spoke. After recording I produced the video as several diferent types of files, the one above is a .flv from a .wmv. From there I uploaded the video to blip.tv and took the code that site generated and pasted into blogger...that's it.

A nice tutorial on how to do this is located on the freevlog site...very easy to follow screencasts for PC and Mac.

blip.tv - blip.tv
